Who We Are.

NAME: ARNIMAAL INSTITUTE FOR REHABILITATION RAJBAGH SRINAGAR-190008. (J&K)CONTACT DETAILS: 9818277421The main objective of the organization is to rehabilitate the marginalized sections of the society (women and children). It has been supporting community based education set up for orphans and economically deprived children, Medical Aid to people and SHG’s support for women in rural areas of Kashmir Valley.Arnimaal is a Registered Non Governmental Organization established in early 2010, founded by Ms. Kalpana (Tikku) Wahie, with the objective of reaching out to marginalized communities and working with them.The main objective of the project is to bring about the social betterment of children by providing them literacy, which they are being deprived of, due to on-going instability in the region and their inhabitancy being in far flung zones.

Our Aims


AIMS: The aims and objectives of Arnimaal is to
work for the betterment of children as well as upliftment of Women.
Particularly in the field of education for children along with providing them
primary education and then vocational training so as to make them self-reliant and
assets to the society and country.We, at Arnimaal, aim at working at the
grassroots level and reaching out to the unreached women and children, with an
aim to achieve a value oriented sustainable society based on social
orientation, economic growth, local capacity building and empowerment of people
for a complete social transformation, keeping women and children as the central
figure in programmes.
We aim at addressing the following areas.
· Literacy and Education for children
· Bringing Self Reliance to the weaker sections
· Primary Health care
· Awareness Programmes on various issues
· Promotion of local culture and tradition
· Preservation of local environment.
· Social Rehabilitation
· Community enrichment
We have been rehabilitating children, looking
after their education, doing community development work, establishing libraries
in orphanages, holding workshops with women as well as children on health and
hygiene, and currently working on empowerment of women through SHG'S. We have
also been regularly conducting general health check-up camps in far flung
villages. Also would like to work on Sanitation and safe drinking water.
